Ted Baker 'Me & My Shadow' Boots Christmas Set.

Hi Guys! I am back with a very exciting post for you all!

So if you didn't already know, Boots have got their christmas sets out already, which is really making me so excited for my favourite time of the year now! The first gift set of the year for me was a little treat off my lovely Nanna and Grandad, and I chose one that I had my eye on, which was this gorgeous eye gift set.

The set includes:
2x Shimmer Eye Creams,
2x Eye Glitters,
Liquid Eyeliner Pen,
Eyelash Curlers
And a pair of false eyelashes and glue.

The eyeshadows themselves are really beautiful, especially the cream shadows. They have a similar texture and strong pigmentation much like the Maybelline Color Tattoos, and there is a lovely champagne and a darkish pink colour, along with matching glitter which is a perfect way to turn your look from daytime to nighttime.
Cream eyeshadows without glitter
With glitter on top.

Not only are the eyeshadows impressive, but the eyelashes are really pretty and I know that I'll get use out of them!
The eyelashes also come with glue.
I'm also very excited about the liquid eyeliner as I don't own one with a felt nib like this one, and it is very pigmented and  very easy to use- I can't wait to get more use out of it!!
The eyelash curlers are also very pretty looking and feel very good quality and sturdy, and just really tie this perfect gift set together!

Overall, I love this set and it is a good value for money (£18) and I would buy this set for anyone who's really into going all out with eye makeup, or if they just want to try something new. A lovely gift for any teenager/adult really!

I have my eye on so many of the sets in boots this year, so keep your eyes peeled for more reviews on them! In the meantime go and pick this lovely shadow set up for somebody, or treat yourself as it is available in all Boots stores nationwide!

That's all for now,
Bye xoxo

Update

Hi Everyone!

So, It's been just over a month since I last blogged/vlogged and basically I am kind of unable to post anything during the week at the moment due to some problems, But, I should be able to post on a weekend as of now!

So expect an overload of posts on a weekend, or maybe If I write them over the weekend and dispense them out over the week that would be better..
So I'm just gonna stop myself from blabbering on now, so yeah I should have some more new posts up either tonight or tomorrow...
Keep your eyes peeled!

How's your month been?

Had to film a super quick and speedy video today as I was kind of busy and needed to get it out of the way. I wore this look in my last video (my haul video) so I thought I would re-create it into a getting ready video for you guys!

My Wish List...

MMy second post of the day- again! Maybe I really am getting into the jist of this blogging!

So as I said in my last post, I am laid in my hospital bed at the moment, so I'm pretty unable to film/ do decent posts, so I thought I would make a post about my makeup/beauty wish list :)

More MAC lipsticks-
I am pretty mad for these lipsticks right now, and currently on my wish list are;
* Candy Yum Yum and
* Creme Cup.

stila in the light eyeshadow palette.
After reading so many reviews, and watching so many tutorials with this palette, I have kind of fell in love. I do own quite a fair bit of eyeshadow, but I am desperate for this in my collection!
YSL lipstick in Peach Passion
I love everything about this lipstick despite the ridiculous price tag!

Benefit Boi-ing Concealer
My mum owns this, and I am so desperate for a really good concealer, I love Benefit- so this concealer is on my wish list.

MAC Foundation
I know literally nothing about MAC's foundations apart from that they are very highly recommended, so this is right at the top of my list!
MAC Pro Palette for Eyes
I'm going to stop now, before it gets stupid, but I have wanted to make my own palette using the MAC eyeshadows for a while now..  P.S sorry for the picture, it's the only one I could really find on google.

So thanks a lot for reading! I will post more tomorrow, unfortunately I cannot make a video tomorrow :( but as soon as I can I am ready to record a new getting ready video.
Bye for now!

120 eyeshadow palette review!

So if you saw my latest YouTube video, you would have seen this gorgeous bargain of an eye palette featured in it. So today I am gonna write a small review on it- sadly my swatches are on paper, as I am in hospital at the moment and am writing this in my bed on my phone! Eek, anyway I apologise that I can't take many photos of the actual palette because I would look a bit strange just sat here snapping pictures of an eyeshadow palette on my phone wouldn't I?

So there are 12 lines of 10 eyeshadows and I have swatched them in groups of 10. I am sorry if the pictures are awful quality but this is the best I can do in hospital..
Line 1- it consists of whites/greys and blacks (basically the smokey eyes line!!)
Please ignore all the writing, it's my post in my blog book which I do often. So as you can see they are very pigmented and I cannot wait to try out some sort of smoky eye look using these 10 shadows!

Line 2- it has some really lovely green and blue shadows.

Here I killed 2 birds with one stone and also snapped line 3!
Line 3- purple line!
This line is great for some wacky looks I can't wait to experiment with!

Line 4- purples and pinks
This line would probably have to be one of my favourites because it's so pretty and girly!

Line 5- pinks/ red
Yet again, this features line 6 too!

Line 6- neutrals!
This line could be the most used for me, most definitely!

Line 7- light blues/aqua
Line 8- dark blues/ purples

These 2 lines could be perfect for a mermaid eye makeup look. (*hint hint*)

Line 9- greens

Line 10- greens
There are literally so so many greens in this palette! :)

Line 11- Yellow/ Gold/ Bronze-

Line 12- yellow/ orange
I just love the last 2 lines, they are so bright and different! I can't wait to try something interesting with these!

So overall, I would really recommend this eye palette, to everyone actually, but mainly to people who are just starting out in makeup and eyeshadow. They are brilliant pigmentation too!

Pros-
A majority of the shadows are highly pigmented,
•  a HUGE variety of different colours,
great value for money,

Cons-
it smells a bit artificial and powdery,
• it suffers from quite bad fall out,
• some of the shadows aren't quite as impressive on the eye as they look in the pan.

There are definitely good reasons to buy this gorgeous palette, and at £5.99 for 120 eyeshadows, you really cannot go wrong.

Find it here- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261087588319?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 for an AMAZING £5.99 including postage! :)

So I hope I may have tempted you into parting with some cash, but believe me you won't regret it! :)
Bye for now lovelies

Beauty Things I Suck at Tag

I think I am getting into the jist of blogging now reader! :) I am writing my second blog post of the day! This must be some sort of world record for me, someone just give me a medal or a blue Peter badge please :)

So this next post is the very popular 'Beauty Things I Suck at Tag!' Which pretty much every beauty YouTuber/blogger has done, so I thought I would take this opportunity to do my own! I have to warn you- I am 14 and in no way shape or form a makeup artist or anything like that- so I suck at a fair selection of beauty things... Anyway, on we go..

1- Liquid Eyeliner, no screw that, any eyeliner in general!
So okay- A LOT of people cannot do this, but yet when I watch other tutorials and getting ready videos people do it so effortlessly, and I have to say that then makes me go away and try it myself. I say 'it isn't hard at all' and then screw it all up and mess it up. I can't do it now, and no matter how much I practice- I don't think I will ever be able to master the arts as much as I would love too!

2-  plucking my eyebrows
I have always been terrible at this, and I always tend to neglect my eyebrows and avoid having to pluck them. But those days come where either someone says something about you having bushy eyebrows, or you look in the mirror and see a caveman staring back THAT'S when my tweezers come out. Most often than not I ask my lovely mum to do them for me, as I just can't get the hang of it and sitting plucking away at strays bored me to death. Sorry to all you pristine eyebrow mad people, but I like to leave my eyebrows until I am on the verge of turning into Sully from monsters inc...

3- plaiting hair
Ask anyone who knows me, and they will know how useless I am at plaiting hair. My best friend Kiera actually sat me down and tried to teach me step by step by speaking really slowly, but I am such an impatient person, and I just get wound up and it ends up looking like a big knot in my hair and not a beautiful braid. No matter how much I try and practice ( i am desperate to learn to fishtail plait) I just cannot do it :(

4-  Hair
I've never been good at anything to do with hair, mainly because my hair is so hard to work with. It is really curly and thick and I can't do anything with it. I can't straighten it, I can't do anything whatsoever. I do believe that if I was blessed with lovely straight hair at birth that I would be half decent at hair, but literally the amount of people who say they love my hair, and all I do is wash if, leave it to dry naturally and then just comb it? I don't use any products or anything. I think it could be that I am too lazy to do my hair maybe...

So I am leaving it at this now, and I hope that you have enjoyed laughing at how bad I truly am at makeup and beauty.. Please don't unfollow my blog... I hardly have any followers as it is... Okay I'll stop rambling now.

Bye for now yazzibooers! :)
More posts tomorrow

My Top 10 Summer Nail Polishes!

So There   So you should all know now how much I love nail polishes, so I thought I'd do a post on my current top 10 nail polishes for the summer!
So here they are, in colour order as best as I could do- and there is a great variety of different colours here! We'll start with the yellows;
L-R: Orly- 'Lemonade' and Chine Glaze- 'Sunshine Pop'

I really struggled to take a good photo of these two, but basically the orly is a really  banana-ry kind of yellow, and really pastel, and sunshine pop is really bright and neon yellow. I love both of these nail polishes and I would really recommend them for the summer!

L-R: GOSH- 'Peachy Rose' and Maybelline- '343'

Yet again, I struggled to get them in their true colour on camera, but peachy rose is a light orange, leaning towards a peach colour, which I really love. The maybelline is more of a coral colour, which is very bright and perfect for the summer with a tan!

L-R: Models Own- 'Pink Punch' and OPI- 'Elephantastic Pink'

So here there are 2 very different shades of pink, Pink Punch is a very vibrant, neon colour- actually from the models own neon summer collection. It dries matt which I personally don't like, but you can add a topcoat if you wish. On the other hand, Elephantastic Pink is a kind of bubble gum pink, which is really lovely all year round, but I especially love it in the summer months.

L-R: Essie- 'Lilacism' and Essie- 'Mint Candy Apple'

So these colours are probably my most used nail polishes in my whole collection, as pastel nails are perfect all year round in my opinion. Lilacism is a beautiful lilac which looks so lovely with a tan too! Most of you will have heard of the popular Mint Candy Apple, as it is probably essie's most popular nail polish, and if you buy it you can totally see why! It's a gorgeous minty bluey green colour which I go loco for in the summer.

L-R: Essie- 'Beach Bum Blu' and Essie- 'Mojito Madness'

So last, but not least is 2 more Essie's! And these ones are darker than the others. Beach Bum Blue is a really gorgeous mettalicy blue that looks great on holiday, and on your toe nails as well as your finger nails! Mojito madness is kind of a grassy green, which is nothing like any nail polish I would usually go for, but surprisingly I am loving it this summer  as it is a really quite bright green.

So here's one final photo, where you may be able to see the true colours. And I hope that you have enjoyed reading my first long blog post in a while, and I hope I haven't bored you at all!

Bye for now!

Blogging

So I haven't really gotten into the jist of blogging for a while now, and I really want to begin turning into an avid blogger...
So from this day on I am going to make a pledge to post AT LEAST one post a week- if this doesn't happen, then I do apologise!

In the meantime, I have been frequently posting YouTube videos which you can check out by searching for 'yazziboo' on YouTube, and subscribing to my channel as I've been posting around 2-3 videos a week!

That's all for now, and I will maybe post a bit of something tonight.

Bye lovelies!

MUA Glamour Days Palette Swatches and Review-

Hi guys, so today I thought I would show you some swatches of one of my MUA palettes, and it's the glamour days palette.
It's a really nice palette that I do use a lot to do some bright crazy looks when I am bored.
As you can see it comes with 12 shadows (4 matte and 8 shimmer) and they're all super pigmented and brilliant. I have swatches of them on paper as I don't like to swatch on my skin much because it takes years to come off!!
Shade 1-4-
Shade 1- It's a matte kind of cream colour, which is good for highlighting your brow bone.
Shade 2- a really lovely turquoise shimmer which I love to play around with!
Shade 3- a shimmery browny- maroon colour which is really nice, but probably my least used in the palette.
Shade 4- I love this matte peach shadow, it's really pigmented and creamy and can look lovely just on it's own on your eyes.
Shade 5-9-
Shade 5- it's a matte sandy colour which is good for filling in eyebrows or just using on your eyes.
Shade 6- a darker blue shimmer which is a lot like shade 2. I really love this shadow.
Shade 7- a purple shimmer which I like to use to create wacky looks.
Shade 8- a darkish pink shimmer, which looks good for a wild look paired with shade 7.
Shade 9- a shimmery almost gold colour, which is nice on the eyes with shade 3 and 11.
Shade 10-12-
Shade 10- it's a really creamy and pigmented matte dark brown, which will be good for filling in darker eyebrows, or it goes well in the crease for a smoky look.
Shade 11- a shimmery copper colour which goes really nice with shade 9.
Shade 12- a matte light browny colour which would be ideal for filling in blonde eyebrows, or just for a natural eye look.

So I love this palette, and I would definately highly recommend it as it is only £4. My only issue is the fall out is pretty bad as you can see
But never the less, I love this palette and I do use it alot :)

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this swatchy swatchy post!!

Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart Review

Hello Everybody!!
Just a small blog post today since I am going to be uploading a new video either tomorrow or Sunday, so keep your eyes and ears peeled as its quite an exciting video!:)

So today I thought I'd write my review on the mega popular Revlon Lip Butters, which pretty much everyone raves about and loves.
I own the lip butter in a lovely darkish pink colour called 'sweet tart', but I do have to say I was real disappointed when I bought this.

Now for one, I think £8 is RIDICULOUSLY over priced for these. They are a very very sheer lipstick that hardly show up whatsoever, and because of this- I am not going to buy another one of these lip products which everybody (but me) seems to be loving!
Of course they are very moisturising and nice on the lips, the only time I ever wear this is when my lips are MEGA chapped and I need to put something on quickly, as it does smooth them out and make them feel like a babies bottom!

I find that they feel kind of oily on the lips though, which I personally hate- it goes through me and it really does put me off using this lip product.
(This was a thick swatch of the product, it does not turn out like this on the lips unfortunately.)

So overall, I do like this product.. It's okay and I would recommend it to the people who are just trying out lip colours and lipstick, or people who are a bit nervous to wear bright lips, these will give a sheer shine of colour to your lips. But for me, I am a lover of pigmented, bright lipsticks, so the Revlon Lip Butters are not for me. It's something that I personally would not purchase again.

HAUL VIDEO SNEAK PEEK!

So later on this week I will be positing a small makeup/jewellery haul! :) this blog post is a little sneak peek into what you will see in the video! Don't get too excited haha! I'm so excited to film it :)

So these are the bags.. But what's in them? Find out in my NEW VIDEO which should be on either tomorrow or Sunday :)

Mini Beauty Haul!

So I popped into Tesco with my mum to get a few bits and as usual I was at the makeup area for around 15-20 minutes. I was in my element because there was a Rimmel stand, and a Maybelline and Max Factor one too!
So I eventually picked what I got and I am so excited about them!

The first thing I picked up was a Maybelline Color Sensation lipstick in 910 'shocking coral'. Oh my god, as soon as I swatched it on my hand it was love at first sight. It is such a beautiful coral colour that I cannot wait to wear this summer!
Here are a few quick swatches-

The last thing I got was something that has been on my wish list for ages!
A maybelline Color tattoo eyeshadow!
I was torn between 2 colours, and I finally decided on this one as it is definitely one I can add into my everyday look.

It is in On and On Bronze, and it's a lovely bronze cream shadow, with a slight shimmer to it. When I get round to wearing this I will definately post some swatches and reviews :)

Thanks for reading this short and sweet haul! See you next time. I will be posting a new video on my channel tomorrow to so keep your eyes peeled! X
